Brooke Abrames

About

Brooke Abrames joined Blue Line Arts in early 2018 with a background in community non-profit leadership, fundraising, volunteering, special events, and floral design. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature, which she completed while teaching ESL in Japan. Her travels throughout Asia have given her a deep appreciation for the cultural value of art and the creative communication of ideas.

In addition to executive functions and strategic planning, Brooke specializes in grant writing, fundraising, and development strategy for the organization.  Alongside Co-Director MaryTess Mayall, she oversees exhibition planning and design, and has served as a juror and curator for a number of exhibitions at Blue Line Arts and other venues, as well as a consultant for private collections and public art projects.  

She is proud to be a founding member of the Sacramento Alliance for Regional Arts.
