Ages: 8-12

Five Daily Class Sessions:
Monday – Friday, 9am – 3pm
7/30 – 8/3

Program Description

This 5-day camp will introduce students to the art of architecture and the built environment. It will integrate the subjects of art, social studies, history, science, and math. These lessons engage the bodies, minds, and imaginations of the participants to explore how buildings and cities are designed and built. The camp activities appeal to the various learning styles of students as they look, explore, think, and design. In considering how to create functional and appealing environments, students develop skills of observation, critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration. These tools will develop within them an appreciation and respect for the built environment. Additionally, the activities in this camp will help instill a sense of spatial awareness, encourage methods of creative thinking, and allow participants to explore their city in a new way!

Members: $250; Non-Members: $275
