Exploring Folk Art

Collages, Fiber Arts, Sculptures and more!

Youth & Family Programs

Mon, June 14 / 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Join us for this whimsical five-day camp where we will combine the history of Folk Art with everyday life!  Participants will learn about how a person’s aesthetic choices are influenced by culture and environment before creating their own work.  Each day will feature a new art medium and creative project from collage flowers and folk art animal sculptures to paper mache insects, Hex Sign drawings and sculpted peg people portraits!

Space is limited to 10 participants.  All materials and instruction are included in session price.  There will be a 15 minute break outdoors and a light snack will be provided each day.  Learn about safety guidelines for our art programs here.
