Alyssa is a highly skilled CPA with over ten years of experience in public accounting as well as in private
industry. She currently serves as the Assistant Controller for Haney Business Ventures, Inc. where she
helps provide premium accounting and advisory services for companies from start‐up stage to multimillion
dollar established, nationwide enterprises.
Before her current role, Alyssa served as a Tax Manager at CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), a nationally
recognized public accounting firm (previously named GALLINA, LLP). She provided tax compliance and
consulting services for a variety of industries including agriculture, manufacturing/distribution, healthcare,
and others. Prior to CLA, Alyssa started her career with a Big 4 accounting firm at KPMG LLP in
Norfolk, VA and Sacramento, CA.
Controller, Haney Business Ventures, Inc.
Nick currently serves as the Controller of Accounting for Haney Business Ventures, Inc. where he
oversees the financial operations of all external and internal clients.
Before helping establish what is now Haney Business Ventures, Inc., Nick worked as the controller for a
conglomerate of commonly owned entities ranging from concrete construction, real estate sales, and
private transportation to a nationwide, multi‐million‐dollar security firm. Prior to that, Nick worked in
construction establishing an expertise on all the intricacies involved in the industry.
