Join us for a hands-on two-day workshop with SCG Artist in Residence, Marsha Godoy Schindler, where you’ll delve into the art of stretching clay to create intricate textures. Learn the secrets of applying colored slip to enhance your creations. Explore the possibilities of transforming these textured slabs into basic forms that will contribute to a collaborative art installation, where individual creations come together to form a stunning whole. The artist will discuss her process of creating an art installation and how it transforms from idea to actuality.
Open to all skill levels. All materials and supplies will be provided.
