Artist Statement:

“I am attracted to a variety of techniques and subjects that range from landscapes, still lives and, more recently, figures. Figure painting and landscapes have allowed me to experiment over time with different stylistic approaches. Initially my work was representational and then moved in a more abstract direction, which is the path I am currently taking while trying to make each brushstroke the most expressive and essential as possible.

Behind the creative process, I always feel a sense of mystery and excitement. I never exactly know what the final result will be. I just work putting my technical knowledge and my creativity in the service of creation with a sense of humbleness.

At this point in my artistic journey, I would define my art as “exploration in process.””
