A constant theme in Keri Haarhoff’s work is transformation. She is drawn to creating physical pieces that investigate the process of movement or state of being from one thing or one space or one moment in time to another entirely and what does that look like? When she makes her sculptures, she asks herself, “Where does this fit in the world?” and “Does it have a place, a message, or a home in my heart?”. She is drawn to creating work that leans toward the abstract and yet still encourages the heart and soul to look for its meaning and question the human experience.
