I am interested in weaving techniques and processes that create texture and dimension. Through my weaving I seek to encourage playful interaction both visually and physically. I am curious to explore how the tactile nature of textiles enhances our environment and how our interactions with these textiles elevate our daily experience.

Textiles are both intimate and personal. I am interested in how our environment is
transformed when we introduce textiles with elements such as unique textures, unusual proportions, dimensionality, or unique and unexpected materials. I believe that by surrounding ourselves with such rich sensory experiences’ effects both our physical and emotional sensibilities.
