The Placer Artists Tour is the largest and longest-standing Visual Art Studios Tour in the northern Sierra Foothills region.

This free, self-guided Open Studios Tour features over 100 artists showing in artist studios, galleries and art school locations in Placer County. 

The Tour takes place on Veterans Day weekend: November 11, 12 & 13 from 10am to 5pm daily. This year will feature an Encore weekend November 18, 19 & 20 to give you time to visit more artists!

This annual event is a great opportunity to see talented local artists working in their studio environment, and is a fun and educational event for the whole family. Many of the artists will be demonstrating their techniques and all will freely answer questions about their medium.  Attendees may purchase original art, prints or art cards directly from the artists.  

The Placer Artists Tour preview show, Taste of the Tour will be held at Blue Line Arts from November 4th through 20th, 2022, with the Opening  Reception at Blue Line Arts from 5:00 to 8:00pm on Saturday, November 5th. These events are an excellent opportunity to view the work of all participating artists and pick up the Arts Directory & Tour Guide.

The Arts Directory & Tour Guides are also available at the gallery as well as many locations throughout the region.
