Crochet for Teens: Stitch, Create & Relax
Youth & Family Programs
July 7 / 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
This beginner crochet class for teens ages 12 to 18 is perfect for those looking to learn a new creative skill in a fun and relaxed setting. Over five days, students will master basic crochet stitches like chain, single crochet, and double crochet while working on beginner-friendly projects such as coasters, headbands, or a small bag. They’ll learn how to read simple crochet patterns, maintain even tension, and troubleshoot common mistakes. As they gain confidence, students can personalize their projects with color changes and texture techniques. Whether they’re interested in making accessories, gifts, or just unwinding with a mindful craft, this class provides the perfect foundation for a lifelong hobby. No prior experience is required—just a bit of patience and a passion for creativity!
