Roseville Mural Project-logo

For centuries, public art has been a way to bring communities together and create gathering spaces for residents and visitors alike. With Roseville's last public arts project coming to an end over a decade ago, our community is long overdue for a creative invigoration.

The main goal of the Roseville Mural Project is to bring new public art of high artistic quality and enduring value to the city of Roseville. We're focusing on three unique initiatives: the creation of five new murals in the Downtown Roseville District during the Spring of 2019, a special Veterans Mosaic Mural, and Youth Mural Camp.

Five New Murals for Downtown Roseville

The primary focus for the project’s inaugural year of 2019 will be on implementing five fresh new mural designs on the external walls of businesses in the downtown Roseville area by spring 2019.

Veterans Mosaic Mural

In January of 2019, Blue Line Arts hosted three free weekend workshops for women veterans with the support of the California Arts Council. The art they created has been installed, and is currently on display, at the entrance of the Lohse Apartments, a new affordable housing option on Vernon Street.

Youth Mural Camp

With the support of Placer Community Foundation's Giving Circle, Blue Line Arts is hosting a free spring break art camp for at-risk youth. During the camp, teens will complete a mural of their own with guidance from positive role models and a professional mural artist.
