Ready to take your art practice worldwide? Join artist Jane Ingram Allen for an info-packed workshop on how to find, apply for, and thrive in international artist residencies. Jane will share stories and insights from her own experiences as an artist-in-residence in over a dozen countries—including Japan, Brazil, Nepal, Turkey, and more. Get a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s really like, plus see images from her travels and learn what makes a strong application.
From finding hidden opportunities to crafting compelling proposals, this workshop is your roadmap to building a global art career. Bring your questions and leave with tools, tips, and fresh inspiration to take your work across borders.
Participants are encouraged to bring pen or pencil and notebooks to take notes.
