Description:

Blue Line Arts seeks experienced and aspiring Public Art artists for future opportunities throughout the greater Placer County region in California. Artists sought have experience designing, creating, and installing one or more of the following types of work: mural, sculpture, flooring/ground, landscape, light art, mosaic, interactive.

Compensation:

Each project budget will vary and be communicated on a case-by-case basis. Blue Line Arts and its partners are committed to fair pay for working artists and align with industry standards.

Artist CV/Resume

Demonstrates professional history: exhibition of Artist's work in a variety of public and/or private spaces, especially that in the Public Art realm.

Examples of Previous Work (5-10 images, .png or .jpeg format)

Images of work completed the Artist. If selected, these photos may be used to promote the artist during the project.

Proposed Design (if applicable)

If the Artist is responding to a specific project or call for artists, please include a Proposed Design.

Please indicate the medium in which you wish to work for future Public Art projects.

For Murals, what is your standard price per square foot?

Please indicate your standard price per square foot for mural work. This figure should reflect costs for supplies, labor, and miscellaneous.

Are you interested in youth/education/instructing opportunities?

Blue Line Arts executes Public Art projects with an array of regional partners. Some opportunities may include an arts education component with the Artist serving as lead instructor in addition to artist. 

What is the scale of your largest work?

Please indicate the scale of your largest completed work by choosing  a unit of measurement and entering the figures in the fields below.

Eligibility

  • Open to all artists in the United States 18 years or older.
  • Dependent on project to be determined between property owner, artist, and Blue Line Arts.
