Ray Gonzales has been a member, artist, and generous supporter of Blue Line Arts since 2012, participating in exhibitions including Comunidad, Off Center, and Membership Medley, while regularly donating his work to support Blue Line fundraisers. In 2025, Ray was selected for the Susan Cooley-Gilliom Artist in Residence program, sharing his ceramic practice and decades of experience with the community. A longtime educator and arts advocate, he has taught at Sierra College since 1989, created numerous culturally significant public art projects, and founded the Feats of Clay exhibition in Lincoln, helping establish a lasting platform for ceramic artists. His work reflects a deep commitment to community, cultural heritage, education, and the power of art in public spaces.
