Description
For nearly four decades, Karen Fulk has been a member, artist, educator, and cherished part of the Blue Line Arts story. She joined the Roseville Art Center in 1989 and presented her first exhibition, From Toeshoes to Tennies, at Haman House in 1990. In 1992, she had the honor of opening the organization’s new gallery at the Tower Theatre with NOSTALGIA: It’s Worth Going Back For!—even seeing her name on the theater marquee. Karen also taught Cartooning for Kids, helping bring creative opportunities to young people during a time when arts programs were disappearing from public schools. She credits Blue Line’s exhibitions and professional opportunities as “the backbone of my art career for forty years.”
