Description
For more than four decades, Patricia Abraham has been woven into the story of Blue Line Arts as an artist, educator, exhibitor, and community member. After moving to California in 1981, she began teaching watercolor at the Roseville Art Center in Haman House in 1982, where she also exhibited her work and enjoyed lunches prepared by the art center’s dedicated volunteers.
Her connection to the organization became especially personal when she met her future husband, Norman Van Huff, while teaching art at Maidu Community Center in 1992. They were married two years later in the gazebo at Haman House.
Patricia later served as an artist-in-residence, exhibited at the Tower Theatre, and continued teaching, exhibiting, and supporting Blue Line Arts. The two works displayed here reflect her artistic evolution and enduring connection to this community.
