Pathway to the Sun – Hannah and Alana Nicholson van Altena Glass

Hannah and Alana of Nicholson van Altena Glass have become valued members of the Blue Line Arts community through exhibitions including Membership Medley, Crocker Kingsley, By Hand, and the Placer Artists Studios Tour preview exhibitions. Their first solo exhibition, Roots & Rebels, offered a glimpse into how their glass practice has evolved since taking over the studio established by first-generation artists Nicholson Blown Glass. They credit Blue Line Arts with creating meaningful connections among artists and patrons while providing opportunities for artists to grow and share their work. Reflecting on their experience, they share, “We feel very lucky to be a part of this community.”
